The shoe is known for being surprisingly simplistic. It features full Air Jordan/Jumpman branding with no Nike
Air branding. The shoe has no visible air. The color schemes, while vibrant, are sleeker than previous
models.
The advertising would mark a big change of course from the beloved Mars Blackmon campaigns. The Air Jordan 7
‘Hares’ would feature Bugs Bunny-like colors and introduce a series of commercials pairing them
together.
Jordan would wear the Air Jordan 7 en route to a second consecutive NBA championship over the Portland Trail
Blazers, his third MVP honor (second in a row), a scoring title, and All-NBA honors.
The Air Jordan 7 featured five original colorways and an additional colorway that Jordan wore with the Wizards
after his second retirement. Luckily we were able to see Jordan wear all of these in games. Notably, he wore the
Air Jordan 7 ‘Olympic’ during the 1992 Dream Team run in Barcelona, which featured a custom #9 on the shoe's
heels.
