Despite Jordan returning to the NBA in March of 1995, the Air Jordan 10 original colorways are perhaps the least
visible sneaker Jordan wore.
The shoes themselves were simple in design. Many pairs featured matching colorways along the sides and uppers.
The bottoms were unique as they listed many of Jordan’s accomplishments in the shoes' color accents.
Nike continued with subtle advertising, playing on Jordan’s baseball career and returning to the
NBA.
Jordan wore the ‘Steels’ in Scottie Pippen’s charity event in September of 1994, in what would be his last game in
Chicago Stadium before it was demolished for the United Center. Jordan has not been seen in the ‘Shadows’ or
‘Powders’ and wore the “Chicagos" upon returning before committing to the Jordan 11 in the playoffs.
Nike continued with formalizing their approach to player exclusive pairs as Jordan was still retired at the start
of the 1994-1995 season. They officially released four pairs with specific team colors worn by individual
Nike/Jordan brand players on each team. They were as follows:
